Welcome to our Nursery, the morning session is Elmer class and the afternoon is Wilbur class, my name is Mrs Hatton.
William Martin Nursery is a very friendly place, where we believe children should think of school as a fun place to be with lots of playing and learning. Children come in not knowing what to expect, but leave full of confidence ready for school. They learn mostly through play with some adult input.
The staff are friendly, approachable and very caring. We follow the early years curriculum, working with the Reception teachers to develop every child’s learning.
Our classes are called Elmer and Wilbur, from the books by David McKee. Elmer and Wilbur are friendly elephants who look after and care for each other and understand that it is alright to be different. Just like our nursery!
